Riffing on the success of tennis-centric movie Challengers, France’s Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc has launched a capsule collection of tennis apparel with Lacoste. Jenny Southan reports

According to a recent report in The Times, Anne Keothavong, who captains Britain’s team in the Billie Jean King Cup, says that top-flight tennis has received a “Zendaya bounce” in popularity in the weeks before Wimbledon thanks to the success of the actor’s role in the Challengers film.

Tapping into the “Racketeering” trend (a term coined by Globetrender to describe the rise in popularity of racket sports such as tennis, padel and pickleball), the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, in Cap d’Antibes has unveiled a new limited-edition range of tennis apparel in partnership with French luxury sports fashion company Lacoste.
