Marriott International has acquired Postcard Cabins (formerly known as Getaway), an “outdoor hospitality" brand that helps people disconnect from daily life and have meaningful moments in nature.

Postcard Cabins was founded in 2015 with a mission to bring the experience of finding free time in nature to more people. The brand promises to support guests to slow down, unplug and embrace the great outdoors in comfort and style.

It has welcomed more than 2.4 million guests to its 1,200 cabins across 29 US locations in private woodlands - within two hours’ drive from major cities - promising the chance to immerse themselves in nature.Postcard CabinsMarriott’s acquisition of Postcard Cabins feels in step with the growing popularity of the outdoor accommodation sector, driven by travellers who are eager to trade the alway-on pace-of-life for the serenity of nature. By joining Marriott’s portfolio, Postcard Cabins will connect with a global audience and benefit from Marriot’s resources, including its Marriott Bonvoy rewards programme, which has more than 210 million members worldwide.
