'Live Flex' by CityHub is an accommodation model designed for travellers who want to combine work with play and stay for as long as they like. Olivia Palamountain reports

Urban lifestyle hotel brand, CityHub has a flexible living concept that offers travellers a blend of hotel services and home-like amenities for both short and long-term stays.

Dubbed "Live Flex", the concept launched when CityHub opened in  Copenhagen in September 2020, geared towards locals who were looking for a place to stay during the pandemic.

Today, guests in CityHub's Rotterdam outpost can also take advantage of the Live Flex lifestyle.CityHubThis includes a stay in a private "Hub" – luxurious, pod-style rooms featuring king-size beds and smart storage solutions, plus hotel-style services such as weekly housekeeping, fresh linens and Rituals toiletries.CityHubThey also enjoy access to premium shared spaces – think cool bathrooms and a communal area called "The Hangout", where guests can work, socialise or prepare their own meals.

For digital nomads and remote workers, the concept offers a dedicated workspace with large desks, comfortable chairs, and high-speed wifi.CityHubCityHubThe Live Flex package in CityHub's Copenhagen location starts from 12,000 DKK  per month (£1,341) or 4,000 DKK per week (£447) for single occupancy.

Live Flex at Rotterdam is priced from €1400 per month or €500 per week, based on a single occupancy and seasonally dependent.

A unique feature of CityHub is the presence of "CityHosts" – local experts available 24/7 to provide insider tips on everything from local gyms to setting up bank accounts, ensuring guests can quickly adapt to life on the road.CityHubThe concept also appeals to the environmentally conscious traveller. CityHub claims that its smart use of space and cutting-edge technology results in each guest's carbon footprint being 89% lower than in a traditional hotel, compared to the European average.CityHubSecurity is a priority, with staff on location around the clock and access to the property controlled via wristbands after hours.

The flexible booking policy includes no deposit requirement and free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival. Extra nights and an extra person can also be added at a discounted price (subject to availability).CityHubCityHub also has a hotel in Amsterdam, with an outpost in Reykjavík open soon and available for bookings from October 11, 2024.
