The Other House, a hospitality concept that allows guests to stay anywhere from one night to a full year, has unveiled the interiors of its soon-to-debut Covent Garden property, featuring a unique "British maximalist" design style and apartments with their own street addresses.

Opening in Q4 2025, The Other House Covent Garden comprises seven historic buildings - four of which are listed, including a former rectory - unified around a striking five-storey glazed atrium. The development offers 146 residences ranging from hotel rooms to signature "Club Flats" that include studios and one- and two-bedroom options, with some convertible into larger "combos" for families.

In a departure from traditional hotel design, each Club Flat features its own street name and address, with front doors designed to evoke a London streetscape atmosphere. Residents walk directly into living areas rather than bedrooms, mimicking the experience of entering a home rather than a hotel room. The Other House Covent Garden The Other House Covent Garden The interiors, designed by CEO Naomi Heaton and the brand's in-house team, blend art nouveau elegance with Art Deco flair in what the company calls "British Maximalist" style. The design features bold glamour and luxury of the art deco era combined with the movement and fluidity of art nouveau, using a palette of teal, muted salmon and leaf green. The Other House Covent GardenAn unusual artistic touch sees CEO Naomi Heaton appearing in intricate art deco-inspired wall art displayed in the club flats, created by sustainable design duo Vin + Omi, who also appear in the artwork and serve as The Other House's sustainability consultants.

The property features distinctive amenities including a stone-hewn vitality pool, a 360° sensory experience chamber, and an exclusive rooftop bar called The Peacock Lounge with panoramic views of London landmarks including St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster, and The Shard. The Other House Covent GardenSustainability forms a core element of the development, with construction using FSC-certified timber and low-carbon concrete. The project diverted 92.5% of site waste from landfill and anticipates achieving a BREEAM "Excellent" rating.

Naomi Heaton, CEO and founder, says: "We are redefining traditional notions of staying and renting in London by offering a fully flexible, fully catered for lifestyle that meets the multiple practical and personal needs of both travellers and tenants. Whether for a day, week or year, The Other House is more than just a place to stay - it's a place to belong."The concept, which The Other House calls "Hybrid Living," allows guests to access everything from accommodation to dining, fitness facilities, and private members' club services under one roof. Rates start from £350 per night for a Club Flat, with stays ranging from one night to over a year.

The property builds on the success of The Other House South Kensington, which opened in 2022, representing the brand's expansion of its flexible urban living concept to London's theatre district.
