The Other House will open a second property in Covent Garden in 2025, bringing its 'Residents Club' concept to London's theatre district. Olivia Palamountain reports

Opening late 2025, The Other House Covent Garden will bring its luxurious brand of extended-stay accommodation to Covent Garden's historic Wellington Block, blending apartment-style living with high-end hotel services and exclusive private members' club access.

Comprising seven buildings, including a former rectory, the £350-per-night property will feature 146 luxury Club Flats arranged around a dramatic five-storey glazed atrium.

Each flat comes equipped with a fully-fitted kitchenette, living space, separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom with rainfall shower, catering to stays ranging from one night to a year or more.  The Other House Covent Garden The property's crowning feature will be The Peacock Lounge, a rooftop bar offering panoramic 360-degree views across London's skyline, taking in landmarks from Saint Paul's Cathedral to The Shard. Additional dining and entertainment spaces include The Other Kitchen, an all-day street café, and the Owl & Monkey cocktail bar.

Sustainability sits at the heart of the development, which has achieved a BREEAM "Excellent" rating. The construction utilises FSC-certified timber and low-carbon concrete, with 92.5% of site waste diverted from landfill. Fashion and design duo VIN + OMI continue their role as Creative Sustainability Advisors, weaving eco-conscious elements throughout the interiors.

The private members' club aims to become a cultural hub in the West End, with plans for regular events and partnerships. Accessible to both residents and external members, it will feature design-led lounges, wellness facilities including a subterranean vitality pool and sound bath, treatment rooms, and a state-of-the-art gym. This latest addition to The Other House portfolio, which includes their South Kensington location and future plans for a Belgravia site, continues to grow the trending extended-stay sector, offering luxury accommodation for modern travellers seeking both flexibility and exclusivity in central London.
