Wellness and lifestyle destination Clap House has opened in Ibiza, promising to uplift the island's hospitality scene with a D&G pool club, next-gen fitness technology and biohacking cuisine. Olivia Palamountain reports

Clap House Ibiza, located in the coastal neighbourhood of Talamanca is a new wellness and lifestyle destination that combines contemporary Japanese dining, wellness facilities and lifestyle experiences under one roof.

The complex centres around The Clap Pool Club, home to what's described as one of the island's largest swimming pools - a 50m Olympic-sized facility surrounded by luxury loungers and VIP cabanas.

In yet another example of designer takeovers, Clap Pool Club has collaborated with Dolce & Gabbana for a branded poolside experience awash with the Italian fashion house's signature animal print. Day packages start from €80, which includes credit towards food and drink served poolside.The venue's Seven Wellness Club takes a comprehensive approach to wellbeing with fitness structured around three pillars: cardio, strength and flexibility. Indoor facilities feature custom-designed Technogym Artis equipment created exclusively for Seven, whilst outdoor spaces offer functional training areas in an open-air setting.

It has also has become the first destination worldwide to feature Technogym Reform machines.

As an official Hyrox partner, Seven provides structured training programmes for the increasingly popular fitness racing format, catering to members seeking performance-focused workouts.A particularly innovative element is The Dose by Silvena, helmed by acclaimed biohacking chef Silvena Rowe. The all-day dining concept focuses on "mindful gastronomy" using superfoods and nutritious ingredients designed to optimise wellbeing - a relatively new approach to restaurant dining that combines culinary excellence with functional nutrition.

The venue's Clap Restaurant offers contemporary Japanese cuisine with panoramic views of Ibiza Town and the Mediterranean, serving everything from à la carte selections to exclusive Omakase experiences from 11am to midnight.

The opening represents a shift towards more holistic luxury experiences in Ibiza, moving beyond traditional beach clubs to integrate serious wellness facilities with high-end dining and leisure.
