Italian fashion house Missoni is transforming Oku Ibiza this summer with its signature zig zag weave and bold colour schemes inspired by the colours of the Med.
The partnership will see the 50m swimming pool and surrounding deck reimagined as the Missoni Resort Club at Oku Ibiza, marking the fashion house's first-ever 'Resort Club' venture on the Spanish island.
Guests will experience the Mediterranean setting through Missoni-branded sun beds, towels, and sofas designed to capture what the hotel describes as "Ibiza's lively, yet laidback atmosphere." The hotel features 185 guest rooms and suites, alongside a standalone four-bedroom villa with private pool, two hotel pools, two restaurants and a spa. The property offers daily meditation and yoga sessions, comprehensive spa treatments and fitness programming.
Dining options include To Kima, serving Mediterranean cuisine, and Teyo Restaurant, which focuses on Japanese fusion. The pool area transforms into an evening entertainment space with resident DJ performances as part of the hotel's programming. The collaboration launches as Ibiza continues to attract luxury hospitality partnerships, with fashion houses increasingly exploring resort-based experiences beyond traditional retail environments.
Missoni has been leaning into lifestyle spaces since around 2016, according to Fashion Network, creating what the brand calls "immersive branded environments in exclusive locations" where guests can fully experience the Missoni lifestyle philosophy. In October 2024, Missoni debuted a year-long partnership with Drift Beach Dubai, which sees the fashion brand's distinctive designs featured across the beach club's daybeds, parasols and cabanas (find the full story here).
Located at the One&Only Royal Mirage, the design scheme focuses on deep blues and ocean turquoise with emerald green accents.
Now, Delta Airlines has expanded its partnership with Italian fashion house, splashing the brand’s joyful zigzags on everything from eye masks to duvets in its most premium Delta One cabin. Find the full story here.
