Silolona Sojourns has launched five new sailing itineraries across Indonesia for 2026, celebrating the country's diversity, from volcanic landscapes in Alor to sacred villages in Sumba and vibrant reefs in Raja Ampat.

The themed voyages aboard its hand-crafted phinisi yachts span seven to 14 days and are grouped into three categories: community and cultural encounters, landscape and adventure-focused voyages, and marine life and biodiversity expeditions. Prices start from £2,300 per cabin per night based on two people sharing.

In a departure from its previous charter-only model, the company now allows individual travellers to book cabins on Silolona and Si Datu Bua.Silolona SojournsAmong the cultural offerings is a 10-day voyage through the Savu Sea to Sumba, where guests witness ancient ceremonies, explore ancestral stone graves and meet traditional weavers. The route concludes at Komodo National Park. A 14-day expedition through West Papua includes swimming with whale sharks in Cenderawasih Bay, visiting semi-nomadic forest communities and sailing around the limestone karsts of the Wayag Archipelago in Raja Ampat.

Adventure-focused itineraries include a seven-day Komodo Trek Expedition combining diving with guided treks to encounter Komodo dragons on Rinca Island and hikes across Padar Island's ridges. The nine-day Alor Archipelago Adventure navigates volcanic peaks, coral-fringed islands and traditional coastal villages, with opportunities to spot dugongs in shallow bays.

The marine-focused seven-day expedition in Cenderawasih Bay centres on encounters with whale sharks, diving alongside coral walls and exploring World War II plane wrecks in one of Indonesia's most biodiverse marine parks.

All itineraries include food and beverages, diving, scheduled activities and accommodation. Expert crews guide each voyage, with time allocated for relaxation aboard the vessels and locally-inspired cuisine.

Full private charters of Silolona, which sleeps up to 12 guests, cost £14,000 per day plus 12% VAT. Si Datu Bua, accommodating up to six guests, is priced at £8,500 per day plus 12% VAT.
