In response to growing demand for family sabbaticals, Wix Squared has launched a new set of family-friendly summer escapes in Sri Lanka and Indonesia. Olivia Palamountain reports

Luxury tour operator Wix Squared has designed two new family sabbaticals in Asia (Sri Lanka and Indonesia specifically) that unravel over up to 42 nights.

The Sri Lankan itinerary features the likes of jungle Jeep drives, sunrise leopard safaris, hill plantation hikes and treasure hunts. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, families can expect a spectacular boat charter, volcanic hikes, surfing, waterfall blessings and white water rafting .

The move comes after the company has observed an 80% rise in HNWI clients investing in summer sabbaticals, in order to mark a milestone in their lives or to maximise precious time with their families in extraordinary locations.

Wix Squared believes the growing trend is due to a desire for a healthier work-life balance, and the flexibility of remote-working facilitating this, enabling families to reconnect, and enjoy out of this world experiences that provide educational value beyond traditional classroom settings.
