The Connaught has unveiled 'The Connaught Suite Collection', allowing guests to experience the hotel's finest offerings - from John Lobb shoeshines and tableside martini service to Aman Spa treatments - without ever leaving their rooms. Olivia Palamountain reports

The Connaught hotel in London's Mayfair is now offering guests a carefully curated range of in-suite experiences designed to bring the hotel's renowned services directly to the privacy of their rooms.

These bespoke experiences include chilled martinis mixed tableside from the hotel's Connaught Bar (twice voted the best bar in the world in 2020 and 2021 respectively) along with patisserie from master pâtissier Nicolas Rouzaud and in-suite massage treatments from the Aman Spa wellness team.

General manager Sandeep Bhalla explains the thinking behind the new collection: "We have such a rich choice of wonderful experiences on offer at The Connaught, it felt only right that for the first time, we can now offer them to our guests in the privacy of their elegant suites. We can even provide our own Connaught Concert Pianist to play should the mood call for it!"Among the most distinctive offerings is "The Connaught Cinematic Collection" - a selection of films specially curated by the British Film Institute featuring iconic Hollywood stars who were longstanding guests of the hotel. The collection includes classics starring Lauren Bacall, Alfred Hitchcock, Vivien Leigh, Jack Nicholson, Grace Kelly and Warren Beatty.Another unique touch is the John Lobb shoeshine service, bringing the expertise of the renowned shoemakers (established 1866) directly to suite guests.

The suite restoration project was led by designer Guy Oliver, with contributions from architect Michael Blair and David Collins Studio, creating 34 highly individual suites. These range from the contemporary Terrace Suite with views across Mayfair's rooftops to the sophisticated Library Suite and the classically elegant Sutherland Suite, complete with grand piano.Suites at The Connaught start from £1,440. Standard amenities for all suites include 24-hour personal butler service, complimentary Billecart-Salmon Champagne on arrival, welcome treats from Nicolas Rouzaud at The Connaught, complimentary cocktails and packing/unpacking services.
