Fashion designer Anya Hindmarch is celebrating the golden age of air travel with a new pop-up concept store called "Air Anya".
Now open in London and running until April 6, the temporary retail space will transform The Village, Hindmarch's collection of shops in Belgravia, into a 1970s-inspired aircraft interior.
The immersive retail experience will showcase the brand's Bespoke Walton collection, described as "a favourite travel companion of the style set." The range includes trolleys, travel bags, totes and vanity cases that can be personalised with letters and inscriptions.A new in-flight tote will debut as part of the collection, designed to sit over trolleys for convenient travel.
The store will also feature bag charms and pouches inspired by aeronautical insignia, alongside accessories referencing iconic graphics from British Airways Concorde and Pan Am.Complementing the luggage collection will be travel accessories including silk eye masks, ear plugs, luxury socks, stickers, neck pillows, blankets and in-flight remedies.
"Now boarding: Air Anya, our tribute to travelling in the best possible style. I'm all for making the journey as glamorous as the destination, so I'm delighted to present our latest concept store, offering ways to add a little luxury – and fun – to your travels," says Anya Hindmarch. The concept store follows Hindmarch's tradition of creating experiential retail environments that transport shoppers beyond the traditional shopping experience.
