Six Senses teases branded residences in Portugal's Comporta
Branded homes at the forthcoming Six Senses Comporta have gone on sale, forming part of a wider resort development on the Alentejo coast.
Six Senses has officially launched sales for Six Senses Residences Comporta, a collection of 58 branded homes on Portugal's protected Alentejo coast, marking the latest expansion of branded residential developments in Europe.
Developed by Vic Properties, the residences form part of the 400-hectare Pinheirinho Estate, located just over an hour south of Lisbon. Less than 5% of the estate will be developed, with the project also including a 70-key Six Senses resort scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2028. Construction is already underway and residences are now on sale, with prices starting from €2.76 million.
The homes have been designed by architect Michaelis Boyd, whose previous hospitality projects include Soho Farmhouse. Buyers can choose from three residential collections inspired by the surrounding landscape: Sand, Forest and Lake.

The properties range from two to five bedrooms and measure between 200 sqm and 2,152 sqm. Each residence includes large outdoor living areas with heated swimming pools, while selected villas also feature private spas, cinemas, playrooms and herb gardens.
The development places a strong emphasis on environmental design. Homes are built using locally sourced materials including pine, cork and terracotta plaster, while solar energy and passive cooling systems are intended to reduce energy consumption. Interiors are delivered with a complete furniture, fixtures and equipment package designed to reflect the Six Senses brand.
Residents will have access to facilities across the wider resort, including a Six Senses spa with thermal areas, hydrotherapy pools, an Alchemy Bar and a longevity programme. Other amenities include an organic kitchen garden, outdoor cinema, lakeside pontoon, Earth Lab sustainability centre and Grow With Six Senses children's activities. A landscaped walking route known as the Path of Life links the residences with the estate's main facilities.

Owners will also benefit from a dedicated lounge, 24-hour concierge services and preferred rates across the global Six Senses portfolio, alongside expedited membership of the estate's golf club. The wider Pinheirinho Estate will feature an 18-hole golf course designed by Jorge Santana Da Silva, restaurants, retail outlets and outdoor activities.
João Cabaça, co-founder and CEO of Vic Properties, says: "It is an unquestionable source of pride to have Six Senses embracing Pinheirinho Comporta, a relationship that will set a new standard for sustainable luxury hospitality and integrated wellbeing, elevating Portugal, and Comporta in particular, in its global tourism and residential positioning. Some partnerships must be built.
"This one was already there – in the values, in the approach, in the deep respect that both Comporta and Six Senses hold for the places and people they touch. Wellness, sustainability, community: it's the same language, spoken fluently by both, as if sharing the same DNA."

The launch reflects continued demand for branded residences, where buyers purchase private homes linked to established hospitality brands and gain access to hotel-style services and amenities. Six Senses Residences Comporta is one of a growing number of luxury residential developments
