Goddess Retreats has announced a new longevity retreat in Bali, marking a fresh chapter for the women-only wellness company it says has been operating on the island since 2003. The launch comes with an update to its main Seminyak property, now called the Seminyak Oasis, which has been redesigned to support a broader range of health-focused experiences for guests seeking more than a standard spa break.
Based in Bali, Goddess Retreats has built its reputation around women’s wellness holidays. With this new longevity retreat, the company is moving further into the fast-growing area of functional health, where travel is framed as a way to support better health over the long term rather than offer a short-term reset. The new programme is positioned as a seven-day introduction to practices that focus on biological age, energy levels and recovery.
Founder Chelsea Ross says the shift reflects changing demand from women travellers. “Women are moving away from the ‘temporary fix’ toward a deep desire for functional longevity,” says Goddess Retreats founder Chelsea Ross. “We’ve evolved our Seminyak sanctuary and our retreat offering to meet that need. By demystifying longevity science within an environment grounded in ritual and community, we are making high-performance wellness accessible, soulful, and deeply personal.”

The updated Seminyak Oasis keeps elements that have long been part of the retreat experience, including unlimited spa treatments, but adds new spaces focused on recovery and healing. These include poolside suites with larger private balconies as well as dedicated wellness areas. The main addition is a new Contrast Therapy Suite, which brings together a custom Nordic Sauna, Ice Baths and Infrared, Red Light, and LED Therapy in one private setting.
According to the company, these treatments are intended to support areas linked to ageing and overall wellbeing, including mitochondrial health, metabolic function and nervous system resilience. In practice, that means guests can try a mix of heat, cold and light-based therapies in a setting that is less clinical than a medical centre but more structured than a conventional hotel spa.
Ross describes the changes as part of a wider rethink of what a retreat can offer. “This is more than a renovation, it is an evolution to meet the needs of women looking for more than just a holiday,” Ross adds. “We have curated a space where ancient wisdom and modern science coexist, allowing guests to 'test-drive' longevity protocols within a safe, soul-centered environment.”

The longevity retreat itself is built around five pillars. These are Science, which covers high-tech cellular infusions, Wisdom, which focuses on naturopathic guidance, Vitality, which includes detox and lymphatic support, Strength, which looks at bone density and hormonal health, and Connection, which draws on Balinese spiritual healing. The aim is to combine newer biohacking tools with older practices that have a long history in wellness culture.
Ross says the programme has grown out of her own interest in menopause, ageing and performance. “I’ve spent the last decade obsessed with finding better ways to navigate the realities of menopause and aging,” says Ross. “By refining these protocols in my own life since 2014, I’ve been able to hand-pick the most effective modalities to empower women through life’s major transitions – from career burnout to menopause. Our goal is to ensure every guest returns home with a clear, actionable game plan to maintain their vitality long after they leave Bali.”
Guests on the all-inclusive longevity retreat can choose between shared rooms, solo stays or private pool villas. The programme includes four specialist treatments in the Longevity Suite, with options such as Radiant Glow IV Therapy, Celestial Somatic Sleep Therapy and Bio-Hacker Cellular Infusions. There is also daily access to the Contrast Therapy Suite and the Unlimited Spa Sanctuary, where treatments include the Divine Rose Bath.

Alongside those higher-tech elements, the schedule includes daily yoga, meditation and pranayama in an open-air shala. Food is also part of the offer, with three wellness menu options as well as unlimited snacks, juices and traditional Balinese tonics. To connect the retreat more closely with its destination, the programme also features private chauffeur-led tours, fire ceremonies and traditional flower mandala workshops.
The new longevity retreat joins a wider collection of Goddess Retreats programmes across Seminyak and Ubud. These include the Bali Goddess retreat as well as wellness, healing, surf, padel, pilates and fitness options. Together, they show how retreat brands are expanding beyond one-size-fits-all spa escapes and building more targeted programmes around specific interests, life stages and health goals.
For Bali, the launch also reflects the island’s continued strength as a hub for wellness travel, especially for visitors looking for experiences that combine local culture with international health trends. In this case, Goddess Retreats is betting that a women-only setting, longer-term health focus and a mix of science-led and spiritual practices will appeal to travellers who want their holiday to feel useful as well as restorative.
