Bvlgari Hotel Roma has unveiled “The Treasure Hunt”, a new Bvlgari Signature Experience designed to guide guests through Rome using a personalised and activity-led format. The experience combines cultural access, hands-on workshops and private visits, with each itinerary tailored to individual preferences.

Positioned as a way to explore the city beyond traditional sightseeing, the Treasure Hunt takes guests to a range of locations including historic workshops, libraries and private residences. These spaces are typically not open to the public but are accessed through Bvlgari’s network of local partners. The aim is to present a more detailed view of Rome’s cultural life, focusing on craftsmanship, heritage and creative practice.

Each experience is built around a series of themed activities that reflect different aspects of Italian culture. One option is a monotype printing workshop at Litografia Bulla, led by master printer Beatrice Bulla. Another is a blind tasting session at Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, located within the hotel, guided by executive chef Claudio Catino.

Other activities include creating mosaics with artist Fabio Jordi in a setting overlooking the Imperial Fora, alongside historical context provided by an archaeologist. Guests can also take part in a fencing session at Accademia d’Armi Musumeci Greco, where a master of fencing leads a mirrored training exercise.

The programme extends into Rome’s historic institutions. At Biblioteca Casanatense, participants follow a decoding activity that involves navigating clues within the library’s collections and spaces. Meanwhile, within the hotel, guests can join a cocktail-making session at the Bvlgari Bar with bar director Desiré Verdecchia, or take part in a games experience inspired by traditional Venetian gaming rooms.

A key feature of the Treasure Hunt is its flexibility. Each itinerary is adapted based on the interests, pace and group type of the participants, whether couples, families, groups of friends or corporate teams. Activities can be combined and adjusted to create a personalised schedule, rather than following a fixed programme.

The experience also integrates the hotel itself into the journey, with selected moments designed to highlight its spaces and services. This approach positions the property not only as accommodation but as part of the overall cultural experience.

The Treasure Hunt is available exclusively to guests staying at Bvlgari Hotel Roma, with prices starting from €4,000 per person and a minimum of four participants required.

Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts plans to extend the concept to other properties in its portfolio, suggesting a broader move towards structured, experience-led stays that connect travellers more closely with local culture.
