Airbnb is offering free stays at a lavish Wuthering Heights-themed property in Yorkshire to coincide with Emerald Fennell's film adaptation, complete with horse rides across the moors and a private listening party of the Charli xcx soundtrack. Olivia Palamountain reports

Airbnb is offering couples the chance to stay in a dreamy bedroom inspired by Emerald Fennell's film adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which opens in UK cinemas on February 13, starring Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie.

The experience, available between February 27 and March 4, recreates Cathy Earnshaw's bedroom at Thrushcross Grange in the heart of Brontë Country, where much of the film was shot.

The surreal abode has been designed to channel the character's intensity, with skin-toned walls, layered textures and details including strands of hair woven into furniture and vein-like patterns through cushions. The space is described as "a feverish ode to Cathy as devised by her husband, Edgar Linton".Airbnb; 'Wuthering Heights' experiential stayAirbnb; 'Wuthering Heights' experiential stayThe launch comes as West Yorkshire is seeing a surge in Valentine's bookings driven by anticipation for the movie. Airbnb data shows searches for Valentine's stays in West Yorkshire are up 59% among global Gen Z travellers, whilst overall searches for the region over Valentine's weekend have risen 24% compared to last year.

The experience includes a horseback ride across the moorlands, a traditional Yorkshire afternoon tea, and a candlelit dinner in a dining room styled to mirror the film's world. Guests will also receive an intimate listening experience of Charli xcx's Wuthering Heights, written for the film, along with an exclusive vinyl album.Airbnb; 'Wuthering Heights' experiential stay Additional elements include an "eggs and soldiers" breakfast – described as an Easter egg from the film, "gentle on the outside, smouldering on the inside" – and a visit to the Brontë Parsonage, the home of the Brontë sisters.

Guests can request to book from February 20, with three couples selected for free overnight stays on a first-come, first-served basis. The stays are designed for up to two guests per night and include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Travel to the property is not included.Airbnb; 'Wuthering Heights' experiential stay
Dana Nussbaum, co-head of global motion pictures marketing at Warner Bros Pictures, says: "The Wuthering Heights that Emerald Fennell has brought to the screen was born of her vivid imaginings of not just Cathy and Heathcliff's passionate romance, but of the wild world of the moors that surrounded them in Emily Brontë's Yorkshire. We are so excited to not only be able to share that singular experience with audiences when the film comes to theatres February 13 for Valentine's Day, but also to give travel buffs who are true romantics the chance to live it for themselves thanks to our partners at Airbnb."

The collaboration reflects Airbnb's ongoing strategy of partnering with entertainment properties to create film-inspired experiences, with recent launches including a life-size Polly Pocket home, Barbie's Malibu Dreamhouse and even Shrek's Swamp.
