As luxury hotels respond to demand for travelling with pets, the Beaumont Mayfair has partnered with Ruff and Tumble to introduce new dog-friendly amenities.

London's Beaumont hotel now provides dog beds, branded pillows, Ruff and Tumble dog drying coats, food and water bowls and a selection of dog treats for four-legged guests.

The partnership builds on the Beaumont Mayfair’s existing approach to accommodating dogs. Rather than limiting pets to bedrooms, the hotel permits dogs in all of its outlets, allowing owners to keep them with them during more of their stay.

The hotel’s concierge team can also recommend nearby dog-friendly parks, grooming salons and pet spa services.

The partnership reflects the growing attention being paid to pet-friendly travel within the hotel industry. For some properties, accommodating dogs now extends beyond simply allowing them into bedrooms, with dedicated products and services being incorporated into the guest experience.

Ruff and Tumble is a UK company best known for its Dog Drying Coat, which is designed to dry dogs after wet or muddy walks. Many of the company’s products are handmade at its headquarters in Rutland.

The Ruff and Tumble partnership adds another layer to the hotel’s existing dog-friendly offering at a time when hospitality companies are finding more ways to accommodate guests who travel with pets rather than leave them at home.
