Vista adds Global 8000 jets to private aviation fleet

May 27, 2026

Vista is upgrading its Global 7500 aircraft into Global 8000 jets, giving members access to faster non-stop intercontinental private flights.

Vista has added the first four Bombardier Global 8000 business jets to its private aviation fleet, marking the start of a wider upgrade programme across its ultra-long-range aircraft.

The company says two aircraft will be upgraded each month, with all 18 Global 7500 jets due to operate as Global 8000 jets by the end of 2026. Vista says this will create the largest subscription fleet of Global 8000 aircraft available to private aviation customers.

The Global 8000 has a range of 8,000 nautical miles, allowing more non-stop routes between regions such as Europe and Asia. Vista says the aircraft also has the lowest cabin altitude in business aviation production, at 2,691 feet, which is designed to reduce passenger fatigue on long journeys.

The aircraft upgrade programme has been certified by Transport Canada, the Federal Aviation Administration and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency.

Thomas Flohr, founder and chairman of Vista, says: "These developments mark another important milestone in Vista's ongoing commitment to operating the most advanced fleet in private aviation. For our Members, greater speed and extended range translate directly into practical benefits such as reaching their destination faster or travelling more efficiently with direct flights.

"With more Members flying further and more frequently, these capabilities allow us to offer greater flexibility while maintaining the consistency and service that sets Vista apart."

The Global 8000 fleet plans follow Vista’s recent agreement with Bombardier for 40 Challenger 3500 aircraft, with options to buy 120 more.

Éric Martel, president and CEO of Bombardier, says: "The Global 8000 stands apart as a truly no compromise aircraft, delivering unmatched speed, exceptional comfort and industry-leading field performance. With the addition of the Global 8000 to its fleet, Vista will offer its customers the best of what is possible in the industry."

Vista operates a membership model that gives clients access to private aircraft without full ownership costs. The group says demand is rising for longer direct journeys that connect continents for both business and leisure travel.
