Four new Six Senses resorts coming in 2026
Six Senses is shifting from remote retreats to major city centres in 2026, with four new urban properties opening next year – including a London debut featuring the brand's first private members club. Olivia Palamountain reports
Six Senses is embarking on what it describes as an "urban awakening" in 2026, with four new properties spanning Europe and the Middle East, including the brand's first UK debut.
The openings mark a considered expansion for the wellness-focused luxury brand, which will launch in London early in the year, followed by properties in Milan, Dubai and Amaala in Saudi Arabia through spring, summer and winter.
Six Senses London
Opening early 2026, Six Senses London will occupy a full quarter of the reimagined Whiteley department store near Hyde Park, featuring 109 rooms and suites alongside 14 Six Senses residences.
The property introduces Six Senses Place – a private members concept blending the brand's wellness philosophy with urban living, offering a dedicated space for community and hotel guests to gather, learn and restore. The ground floor Whiteley's Kitchen, Bar and Café will serve seasonal menus made from local produce, with firelit breakfasts and late-night drinks channelling the rebellious spirit of the building's namesake, William Whiteley.
Downstairs, a 20-metre indoor pool anchors an extensive spa featuring cryotherapy, floatation therapy and a Biohack Recovery Lounge, alongside saunas, steam rooms, plunge pools and sensory showers. An Alchemy Bar allows guests to create personalised homeopathic blends using British seasonal herbs. The 325-square-metre fitness centre includes a light-filled studio for aerial yoga.
Six Senses Milan
Opening in winter 2026, Six Senses Milan will position itself in the artistic Brera quarter at Via Brera 19, facing the Pinacoteca and within walking distance of the Duomo. The property features 69 guestrooms and 16 suites – two with plunge pools and one with a private terrace and 12.5-metre pool.
Interiors by Tara Bernerd & Partners celebrate Milanese craftsmanship through arabescato marble, antique brass and handmade smoked glass. Bernerd says the hotel would have "a sense of discovery: unexpected interior views, an urban house-villa built with sartorial care, and a material palette from stone to wood that speaks Milanese."
A hidden internal courtyard, seasonally driven restaurant and deli, and two bars including a rooftop bar with panoramic city views complete the offering. The Six Senses Spa features a 15-metre indoor pool, two saunas, a steam room and cold plunge pool, alongside a rooftop pool overlooking the city skyline. The brand's Earth Lab provides a hub for guests to engage with sustainability initiatives. Rates start from €1,200 per night on a bed and breakfast basis.
Six Senses Amaala
Six Senses Amaala in Saudi Arabia's Triple Bay area will open in spring or summer 2026 as part of the country's Vision 2030 programme. The name derives from the Arabic word for hope and the Sanskrit word for purity.
Integrated into natural landforms, the property features 64 rooms, six suites, 30 villas and 25 branded residences inspired by traditional coastal villages and built using locally sourced materials. The beachfront location offers panoramic views across Hijaz Cove to the Red Sea, with meandering paths leading to plazas overlooking the iridescent blue lagoons of Pura Cove.
Six Senses Dubai The Palm
Six Senses Dubai The Palm will mark the brand's UAE debut, opening in spring or summer 2026 along a private stretch of beach on Palm Jumeirah's West Crescent. The LEED-certified property comprises 61 rooms and 172 branded residences.
Architectural design takes inspiration from coral reefs – recognising the significance of coral ecosystems to the UAE and efforts to preserve them. Undulating rooflines and cellular facades resemble coral's natural form, creating shaded, outward-looking environments that offer privacy whilst maximising views towards the Gulf and Dubai skyline.
