Red Sea Global has unveiled Nammos Resort Amaala, marking the Greek luxury brand's first hotel venture outside its home country as Saudi Arabia's ambitious Red Sea tourism project takes shape.
The 110-key resort, located at Triple Bay with views over the ocean and Hijaz Cove, will open later this year as part of Amaala's first phase, which includes eight hotels totalling 1,400 keys.
The debut property outside Greece for Nammos, the hotel features 110 ocean view rooms and four dining venues including an exclusive island restaurant. Also in effect will be 20 branded residences overlooking the Amaala Marina and Corallium Marine Life Institute, alongside a luxury spa, fitness centre and children's club.
The resort's design blends Greek and Saudi aesthetics, with Foster + Partners handling the exterior inspired by traditional Hijazi architecture. Interiors by Lazaro Rosa Violan Studio from Spain and Elastic Architects from Greece capture Mykonos' Cycladic style through terrazzo flooring, textured walls and a colour palette of aquamarine, white, and gold.
Four dining venues include Horizon Bar with Red Sea sunset views, Nammos Restaurant, Nalu Restaurant blending Latin American and Asian flavours, and Omnia Restaurant featuring rotating guest chefs. The standout attraction is Nammos Restaurant Amaala, located on the exclusive Hijaz Island off the resort's coast and accessible only by boat from the Marina Village jetty.
Petros Stathis, chairman of Nammos World and vice chairman of ADMO Lifestyle Holding, said: "The opening of Nammos Resort Amaala marks a defining milestone for our Nammos brand, a full-scale, all-encompassing resort experience in one of the most anticipated luxury travel destinations in the world."
Upon completion, Amaala will feature approximately 4,000 hotel rooms across 30 hotels, plus 1,200 luxury residential properties, marinas, retail, and wellness facilities. Triple Bay will eventually house 12 resorts and three residential communities.
John Pagano, group CEO of Red Sea Global, says: "Nammos Resort Amaala represents a milestone for both Red Sea Global and ADMO Lifestyle Holding. This collaboration brings together contemporary design and world-class luxury. We are proud to introduce this exceptional property as one of eight resorts set to open in Amaala's first phase in a matter of months."
