Thailand's Kamalaya Koh Samui, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, has developed a 'Wellness Guardian' programme to meet growing demand for integrated, long-term wellbeing solutions. The service offers expert-led guidance and mentorship tailored to individual lifestyles, locations and wellness goals.
The Wellness Guardians are tasked with providing support across the entire guest journey, from pre-arrival preparation through to post-retreat integration.
The service includes pre-arrival wellness consultations conducted in guests' preferred languages and time zones, expert guidance on health testing and result interpretation, plus bespoke nutrition and lifestyle coaching.
The programme maintains continuity through quarterly virtual follow-up sessions and provides access to evidence-based resources rooted in Kamalaya's integrative wellness model. Guests booking five-night wellness programmes or longer receive complimentary access to Wellness Guardians for 12 months.
"At Kamalaya, we believe wellness is not confined to the length of a stay," says Gopal Kumar, general manager and group director of wellness development. "Wellness Guardians reflects our ongoing commitment to providing meaningful, lasting support for our guests, no matter where they are in the world. This programme allows us to walk alongside our guests through the changing seasons of life, ensuring their wellbeing journey remains supported, relevant, and sustainable."
