Virgin Atlantic has unveiled its new Clubhouse at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), bringing a wellness-focused lounge experience to travellers on the US West Coast.

Located in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, the "multi-sensory" Clubhouse is designed to help passengers unwind before overnight flights to the UK and beyond.

The space features local artwork, sunset-inspired mood lighting and day-to-night transitional illumination to align with circadian rhythms, encouraging relaxation before long-haul travel.The lounge offers several distinct areas including the Ruby Room, a Hollywood-inspired space with its own cinema featuring wireless Bluetooth headsets and The Royal Box, a VIP area with adjustable mood lighting and a secret menu.

For those looking to relax or exercise before their flight, the Clubhouse includes a Zen Den featuring the FORME Studio, an award-winning smart fitness mirror offering guided sessions in three categories: Mind, Body and Spirit. The experience begins with a personalised welcome video from Virgin Atlantic founder, Sir Richard Branson.Corneel Koster, chief customer & operating officer at Virgin Atlantic, says: "We're bringing the Clubhouse experience to the West Coast with new spaces and surprises that are unique to Los Angeles. The story is designed to lull travellers into a pre-flight dream-like state.

It's one of the few times I have just for myself and so I treat it like a spa day in the skies!" says Cumming. Mine's a vodka martini!"The lounge offers exclusive partnerships with wellness brands including Flamingo Estate, whose Garden Essentials collection provides shower and body products made from natural ingredients sourced from farms using regenerative practices.

For dining, the Clubhouse offers table service at every seat with a menu featuring signature dishes and wholesome options catering to various dietary needs, including Californian-inspired items like tuna poke bowl, California roll, tofu pho and Californian fig salad.The drinks menu includes both alcoholic options and wellness-focused alternatives such as Trip Mindful Blend, designed to promote sleep through ingredients such as lion's mane, magnesium, ashwagandha and L-theanine.

The Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at LAX is the sixth addition to the airline's lounge portfolio and is currently open daily from 11:30am PDT.
