Rosewood has launched its first standalone residences in Los Angeles, featuring 24/7 butler service, pet care and rotating art exhibitions. Olivia Palamountain reports

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has launched its first-ever standalone residential property in Beverly Hills, marking the luxury hospitality brand's entry into the Los Angeles market.

Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills comprises just 17 exclusive residences on South Santa Monica Boulevard, where the historic Friars Club once stood.

The five-storey landmark property has been designed by architect Thomas Juul-Hansen, whose portfolio includes luxury developments such as One57 and Two Twenty-One West 77. His vision for the residences blends contemporary elements with classic refinement, incorporating natural materials throughout both exterior and interior spaces.
The residences range from 3,000 to over 7,000 square feet, each featuring private elevator entrances, large entry foyers and floor-to-ceiling windows. The homes include entertainers' kitchens with custom millwork from Molteni & C and hand-picked marble from Greece (including the same Dionysus white used in the Parthenon more than 2,400 years ago) alongside Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances.

All residences feature sweeping terraces that blend indoor and outdoor living spaces, while six of the homes have private pools and spas, alfresco dining areas and outdoor kitchens. Additional amenities throughout the homes include indoor and outdoor fireplaces, wet bars, wine storage, butler's pantries and discreet laundry access.
Four penthouses crown the uppermost floors, each spread across two levels with private rooftop retreats.

The property's shared amenities include a 50-foot rooftop pool, jacuzzi, fitness centre and outdoor recreation areas, alongside an intimate lounge, bar and dining room with panoramic views of Beverly Hills. The ground floor houses carefully curated retail spaces that serve as additional amenities for residents.
A dedicated Rosewood Residential team manages the property, providing services designed to "elevate the living experience of each owner."
