Ibiza is set to welcome destination club Unvrs in 2025, in a launch that promises to elevate Ibiza's world-famous nightlife scene.
Billed as the world's first "hyperclub", Unvrs will combine "the luxury and attention to detail of a nightclub with the scale and ambition of arena events," says Yann Pissenem, the man behind The Night League and founder of renowned Ibiza venues Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza.
To seed the concept to the world, Pissenem called on Hollywood superstar, Will Smith, to help stage an elaborate marketing stunt – a mysterious UFO sighting over Ibiza's iconic Es Vedrà, which was uploaded to TikTok.
The reveal came through a dramatic video featuring Smith, who has been on the island working on new music.
In the footage, Smith uncovers that the alleged extraterrestrial encounter was actually an ambitious drone operation orchestrated by Yann Pissenem.
The initial UFO video, which garnered more than 52 million views and sparked widespread speculation, caught the attention of international media and even prompted an official investigation by local authorities.
The campaign's reach expanded as other celebrities such as David Guetta, Maya Jama, and Alec Monopoly shared the video, fuelling curiosity about Unvrs.Yann Pissenem says: "This campaign has been truly out of this world. Having the possibility to reveal the brand with such an iconic actor like Will Smith was a dream come true. Now that the truth is out there, we can't wait to welcome everyone to our new universe in 2025 as we launch the world's first Hyperclub."
With Pissenem's track record of drawing over 1.5 million visitors each season to his existing venues, expectations for this new concept are high.
