YotelPad has launched its first European outpost, bringing its affordable, smart and sustainable accommodation to East London. Olivia Palamountain reports
YotelPad London Stratford is the debut European property from Yotel‘s disruptive aparthotel sibling brand, offering intelligent design and connectivity at an affordable price point.
The 62-key property caters to both business and leisure travellers with flexible booking options ranging from single night to extended stays, priced from £119 per night.
Hubert Viriot, CEO at Yotel, says: “We’re delighted to debut the brand outside of the US for the first time. It marks an exciting step for us, as we target growth for the YotelPad brand globally, to meet the surging demand for flexible, extended stay accommodation worldwide.” YotelPad London Stratford features the brand’s signature 24-hour Mission Control for self-check-in, a Grab & Go area with local refreshments, laundry facilities, and ample storage space.
The rooms, called “Pads”, offer compact yet comfortable living areas with smart bathrooms, kitchenettes and work desks. Yotel’s brand hallmarks, such as the SmartBed™, mood lighting and super-fast WiFi, are also included.
The new development has received an Excellent BREEAM rating for its environmental performance and sustainability initiatives. These include occupancy sensors, air source heat pumps, solar panels, and green roofs to support biodiversity.
To celebrate the opening, YotelPad has partnered with @prettylittlelondon to create a local area guide.
Guests who complete the 10,000-step route and provide evidence can redeem a free drink or snack at the hotel’s Grab & Go area.
