YOTEL makes Thailand debut with hotel in Bangkok

October 23, 2026

YOTEL has opened its first hotel in Thailand, bringing 250 tech-enabled rooms to Bangkok's new Cloud 11 creative district.

Opened on October 15, 2026, the property is YOTEL's 24th hotel worldwide and its fourth in Asia. It is also the first YOTEL in the region to participate in Select by Hilton, following a partnership between the two hospitality companies announced earlier this year.

Located in Bangkok's South Sukhumvit district, the hotel forms part of Cloud 11, a THB 20 billion (£460 million) development that opened in July 2026.YOTEL Bangkok

Designed to support Thailand's creative industries, Cloud 11 brings together professional film and music production studios, galleries, event venues, a cinema, offices, retail, wellness facilities and public spaces.

The development aims to encourage collaboration between businesses and individuals working across sectors including fashion, film, music, gaming, art, food and digital content creation.

YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit is the first hotel to open within the complex, providing accommodation for business travellers, creative professionals and tourists visiting the city.

The property incorporates YOTEL's established approach to compact, technology-focused hospitality, including self-service check-in stations that allow guests to complete the process in under a minute.YOTEL Bangkok YOTEL Bangkok YOTEL Bangkok

Its 250 rooms include Premium Queen, twin and interconnecting configurations, alongside larger First Class King rooms with sofas or sofa beds. All feature reclining SmartBeds, high-speed wifi, SmartTVs, wireless charging, mini coolers, adjustable mood lighting and rainfall showers. Guest service robots can deliver bottled water, towels and other amenities directly to rooms.

Depending on their location, rooms overlook Cloud 11's rooftop park, the Bangkok skyline or Bang Krachao, a green area across the Chao Phraya River commonly referred to as the city's "green lung".YOTEL Bangkok YOTEL Bangkok

Facilities include YOTEL Swim Club, an outdoor swimming pool and bar, and a 24-hour gym. Komyuniti, the hotel's main social space, combines all-day dining with co-working facilities and two meeting rooms. Accessible directly from Cloud 11, it serves Thai and international dishes throughout the day and is open to both hotel guests and local residents.

A 24-hour Grab + Go outlet offers drinks and snacks, while a rooftop restaurant and bar called Fatty's is scheduled to open in November 2026. Located on the 23rd floor, Fatty's will offer panoramic views across Bangkok and the Cloud 11 development.

Phil Andreopoulos, CEO of YOTEL, says: "Bangkok is not only one of the world’s most iconic tourist cities; it is also a vibrant business hub that is attracting entrepreneurs and digital nomads from around the globe. Cloud 11 is at the heart of Thailand’s growing creative economy and a new investment landmark for the entire country. This makes it the perfect location for the city’s first YOTEL."

He adds: "Our brand has always been about challenging traditional hospitality with intuitively designed spaces, smart experiences and rooms engineered to deliver the best sleep. YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit not only gives us the opportunity to introduce our brand to a new destination, but also to become part of a community that is helping to shape its future."

Mike Smith, general manager of YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit, says: "YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit will be a real game-changer for Thailand’s hotel sector. Our unique location within Cloud 11, combined with fast connectivity, 24-7 services and sleek design, will intuitively meet the needs of today’s travellers who crave complete convenience. My team and I are excited to welcome guests to Bangkok from 15th October."

The hotel is connected to Bangkok's BTS Skytrain network via a 300-metre elevated walkway. Thong Lor is four stops away, while the Asok intersection on Sukhumvit Road is six stops away. Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) is 2.3km from the property, with transport connections to both Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang international airports.

The opening also marks an important step in YOTEL's partnership with Hilton, announced in March 2026. Under the agreement, YOTEL became the first brand to join Select by Hilton, a new arrangement that allows participating independent hotel brands to retain their identity and management while accessing Hilton's distribution network, technology and Hilton Honors loyalty programme.

Hilton Honors members staying at YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit can earn and redeem points and access benefits according to their membership tier. Members can also earn bonus points on eligible meetings and events through the Hilton Honors Event Planner programme.

Founded in London in 2007, YOTEL is targeting a threefold expansion of its global portfolio over the coming years. Its existing Asian properties include hotels in Tokyo, Singapore's Orchard Road and Singapore Changi Airport, with a further opening planned in Kuala Lumpur in early 2027.

The Bangkok opening also reflects a wider shift towards hotels being integrated into mixed-use developments that combine accommodation, workspaces, cultural facilities and leisure attractions.

Rooms at YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit start from THB 1,800 (approximately £42) per night, with a limited-time introductory discount of 20% available.
