Air France's new Heathrow lounge has a Clarins spa

July 17, 2026

Air France has opened a new lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 4 featuring a Clarins treatment area, dedicated La Première spaces and French dining ahead of flights to Paris and beyond.

Air France has opened a new lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 4, marking a significant investment in one of its main European airports outside France. Open since July 7, 2026, the new facility is designed for eligible Air France, KLM and SkyTeam customers travelling through Heathrow, which serves as an important hub on the airline's medium-haul network.

Covering more than 750 sqm and offering almost 150 seats, the lounge has been created by Air France's in-house teams in partnership with design agency Marks Brandimage. Large windows overlooking the runway fill the space with natural light, while the interiors draw on the airline's signature blue, white and red colour palette. Furniture by French designers including Margaux Keller, Pierre Paulin, Patrick Jouin and Christophe Pillet features throughout the lounge, alongside displays celebrating Air France's heritage, including its historic winged seahorse emblem.

Open daily from 5am until 10pm, the Heathrow lounge is available to Air France La Première and business class passengers, Flying Blue Elite Plus members and eligible travellers flying with KLM or other SkyTeam airlines.

Food and drink are central to the new Air France lounge experience. An open dining area seating around 60 guests serves a menu that changes throughout the day, with hot and cold dishes, sweet and savoury options and vegetarian choices. At launch, travellers can enjoy traditional French meals including beef bourguignon. A staffed bar serves champagne alongside French wines and spirits.

Air France says it is also aiming to reduce the environmental impact of its catering by using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients where possible, reducing food waste and improving recycling. Water dispensers have also been installed to reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles.

One of the standout additions is a dedicated Clarins wellness area, continuing a partnership between the airline and the French skincare brand that has lasted for almost 20 years. Opening on July 13, 2026, the treatment room will offer guests one complimentary spa treatment from a choice of three options: "Anti Jet-Lag", "L'Instant Detox" and "Focus Regard". Treatments are provided by Clarins beauty therapists and can be booked at the reception desk inside the lounge. La Première customers can also reserve appointments using their dedicated telephone service.

Air France has also created a private section within the lounge exclusively for La Première passengers. Designed to reflect the airline's latest La Première suites available on selected long-haul flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle, the area has just five seats, personalised dining service and views across the runway. Guests travelling in La Première can also enjoy an exclusive "Destination Relaxation" treatment in the Clarins spa area.

Flying Blue Ultimate members have access to a separate quiet space with four seats, offering additional privacy while remaining connected to the lounge's facilities.

Elsewhere, the Air France lounge includes a relaxation zone, workspaces, complimentary wifi, power sockets, USB charging points and self-service eligibility kiosks to speed up entry. Travellers can also browse French and international newspapers and magazines through the Air France Press app.

The opening comes as Air France increases connectivity between London and Paris during the busy summer season. The airline is currently operating up to six daily flights between Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle, giving passengers access to its wider international network through the French capital.
