A new immersive experience inspired by Machu Picchu is set to arrive in London next month, bringing one of the world’s most enigmatic archaeological sites to life through virtual reality.

Opening on December 4 at the W12 Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush, Machu Picchu: Journey to the Lost City promises a richly textured exploration of Incan culture using advanced VR technology and narrative-led design.

The experience follows its UK debut in Manchester and builds on international outings in the US, Germany and Singapore.Machu Picchu VR experiences comes to LondonDeveloped in collaboration with Virtual Worlds, a studio specialising in immersive environments, the exhibition aims to balance imaginative storytelling with archaeological accuracy. Visitors can expect to navigate temple corridors, terraced farming landscapes and sacred ceremonial spaces, guided throughout by Teri, a robot companion who acts as an interpreter of Incan history.

Highlights include gliding with condors across the Andes and stepping inside a recreated Incan dwelling during a solar eclipse, moments that blend spectacle with education for audiences of all ages.

The format encourages shared discovery, making it suitable for families, friends and travellers interested in ancient civilisations. It also marks a strategic move for Fever – the global entertainment discovery platform selling tickets to the experience – which plans to expand the venue into a hub for multiple VR worlds in the coming months.

Tickets are now available via Fever’s website and app, with prices starting from £14.50 for children and £18.50 for adults.
