Unplugged has announced the addition of seven new cabins to its collection, bringing the total to 45 with plans to reach 60 by year-end 2025. The expansion comes as more travellers seek analogue wellness experiences and immersive nature retreats.
The new cabins include Bella in Herefordshire, featuring a wood-fired hot tub and luxury king bed with Piglet bedding; Pippin, an off-grid log cabin in the woods of Powys, Wales; and Helix near Tunbridge Wells, a health-optimised cabin created in partnership with wellness pioneer Healf, featuring ice baths, red-light therapy and a sauna.
Other additions include Frank in Hertfordshire, set on a working farm with minimalist design and panoramic views; Minty in Hampshire, surrounded by woodland with a private hot tub; and Reggie in Herefordshire, an off-grid log cabin perfect for nature immersion.
Most notably, the collection now includes Brett in Barcelona, Spain - Unplugged's first international cabin. Located in Camprodon and surrounded by ancient trees, it offers guests the opportunity to explore rivers, waterfalls and ancient caves.
"Expansion in the UK is something we are continuing to progress with at Unplugged," says Hector Hughes, co-founder of Unplugged. "We are having another successful year, demonstrating that these types of tech-free escapes are something that's of high demand. We look forward to rolling out additional cabins throughout the year, in the UK and further afield too."
Unplugged cabins are designed for digital detox, with stays requiring a minimum of three nights - the scientifically proven time needed to benefit from disconnecting from technology. Each cabin comes equipped with board games, books and a radio, with prices starting from £390 per cabin.
The company's expansion reflects the growing wellness travel trend focused on disconnection and nature immersion, with each cabin offering a blend of contemporary comforts and off-grid experiences in carefully selected locations across the UK and now Spain.
