The Maybourne Riviera will reopen on June 17 with a roster of high-profile additions designed to elevate the modernist hotel's appeal on France's Côte d'Azur.

Most notably, the property has secured an outpost of internationally acclaimed celebrity chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's ABC Kitchens concept, fresh from New York. The restaurant, situated on the hotel's top floor with panoramic coastal views, will focus on the chef's signature plant-forward cuisine using local French Riviera produce.

The hotel is also launching Surrenne Riviera, the second location of Maybourne's wellness and longevity club, following the success of its Belgravia debut in 2024. The three-floor facility promises to go beyond traditional spa services, offering personalised treatments that merge cutting-edge technology with holistic therapies, alongside four dedicated studio spaces.    The Maybourne Riviera
Personalised facials come courtesy of Biologique Recherche, while recovery therapies include lymphatic drainage treatments complemented by cold therapy, infrared therapy, osteopathy and red-light therapy.

At the hotel's private beach club, Maybourne La Plage, restaurateurs Ugo and Antoine Lecorché will open La Môme Riviera (also now open in London at The Berkeley - check out Globetrender's story here), bringing their celebrated Cannes restaurant concept to the property. The beach club will feature 185 seats, 40 sunbeds, and live DJ sets. The Maybourne Riviera
New executive chef Sébastien Tantot will oversee the hotel's dining operations, including the existing Riviera Restaurant and La Piscine poolside restaurant, which gains a new clifftop cigar lounge with sea views this season. The Maybourne Riviera
The hotel has also expanded its cultural programming with hyperlocal experiences including watercolour workshops with local artists, food tours of nearby Menton, wine tastings and guided hikes along the Corbusier trail connecting Roquebrune-Cap-Martin to Monaco. The Maybourne RivieraBuilt on a rocky peninsula above Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, the Maybourne Riviera overlooks a tranche of the Mediterranean that has attracted artists from Picasso to Cocteau throughout its history. The 2025 season runs until November 20, with rates starting from €1,575 including breakfast.

The additions reflect the luxury hotel sector's push towards experiential offerings as properties compete for affluent travellers seeking more than accommodation.
