Berkeley Travel has partnered with Aman to donate the largest villa at Amanzoe in Greece as an auction prize at the star-studded amfAR Gala Cannes 2025. Olivia Palamountain reports

Berkeley Travel and Aman have partnered to donate an incredible lot for auction at the annual amfAR Gala Cannes this year, valued at €350,000.

The donation comprises a four-night stay at Villa 20 in Amanzoe, Aman's only Grecian property, located in Porto Heli on the Peloponnese peninsula.

It has been gifted courtesy of Andrew Bezhenar, CEO of Berkeley Travel and Mrs Claudia and Mr Bruno Valsangiacomo, owners of the villa.Amanzoe Villa 20The largest villa at Amanzoe, this stunning property presents "an incredible opportunity for those interested in luxury travel and exclusive experiences," says Berkeley Travel.

The prestigious fundraising event, now in its 31st year and widely considered the most anticipated evening of the Cannes Film Festival calendar, will take place at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on May 22, 2025.

This year's gala is expected to attract an impressive roster of international celebrities, with Cher, Demi Moore, Heidi Klum, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, the Jonas Brothers and Robin Thicke among those anticipated to attend. Legendary rock band Duran Duran will headline the entertainment, while actor Taraji P. Henson is set to host.Amanzoe Villa 20The Villa 20 package accommodates 16 guests and includes return helicopter transfers from Athens, a signature dinner at the resort's Nama Japanese restaurant and a private lunch at the Nura Beach Club. The villa gained recent fame as a filming location for Netflix's Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, where it served as the backdrop for Daniel Craig's detective character.

The foundation, established in 1985, has raised more than US$900 million and awarded over 3,800 grants to research teams worldwide.

Amanzoe, whose name combines the Sanskrit word for "peace" with the Greek word for "life," features 38 guest pavilions and 12 villas set on a hilltop overlooking the Aegean Sea. The resort offers panoramic views of the surrounding Peloponnese Peninsula countryside and includes a private Beach Club in a picturesque bay.
