Wave House is an oceanfront condo hotel offering an elevated level of accommodation along the Pacific coastline in El Zonte, El Salvador.
El Zonte Beach has become known as "Bitcoin Beach" as the region was among the first places in El Salvador to accept Bitcoin as a payment method, which inspired the country's adoption of the cryptocurrency as legal tender.
The beach is situated on the Pacific Ocean, one hour from Salvador, the capital city of El Salvador. The beautiful black-sand beach is revered for its world-class surf breaks, and has plenty of nearby “locavore” restaurants and cafes (using locally sourced ingredients).Wave House residences range in size between studios to three-bedroom penthouse suites. Studios have ocean views from either their balcony or patio, while Wave House’s two-bedroom residences offer a mix of ocean and mountain views from their terrace, bedrooms, living room and kitchen.
Meanwhile, the three-bedroom residences add another layer of luxury with indoor-outdoor living space and oceanfront or mountain views. One residence also has a private pool.
The residences feature furniture from Salvadorian design studio CHWashington Studio, in keeping with Wave House’s hyperlocal concept. Selected pieces have been imported from Spain, while others were sourced from local vendors.Textiles throughout the residences have been sourced from July Mena, a local women-owned brand with a mission to empower women in high-risk areas of El Salvador. Meanwhile, the pottery in the residences was designed by the Wave House team and crafted by Shicalo Ceramics, a non-profit that employs and advocates for those with living with disabilities.
