On January, 15, ahead of the second season launch of Severance, stars Adam Scott, Britt Lower and Zach Cherry congregated in a glass box in NYC's Grand Central Station, giving fans a glimpse of life at Lumon Industries.

The cast spent three hours in character behind their Macrodata Refinement desks, while a noticeably empty fourth station sparked speculation among onlookers about John Turturro's absence. The soundproofed display drew a crowd of around 100 people by early evening.

"It was impossibly clever: nothing actually happened. It was a suspiciously 'normal' day at the office, but we know that Severance is anything but normal," writes Lauren Milici for Games Radar, who witnessed the performance. "This was just a way to set up the calm before the storm."Severance season 2The stunt began with unknown performers portraying Lumon employees before they were "promptly ushered out by security" ahead of the main cast's arrival.

Later appearances by Tramell Tillman's menacing Milchick character and Patricia Arquette sparked cheers from the growing crowd, with Arquette engaging in what appeared to be an intense silent exchange with Scott's character.Severance season 2Director Ben Stiller was spotted photographing the installation from various angles, occasionally pausing for photos with fans.
