Award-winning corporate accommodation platform AltoVita has announced the shortlist for its 2024 Altos Awards, with leading firms including Sonder, Numa Group, Edyn, Ascott, Charles Hope and Staycity among the contenders.
The awards, now in their fifth year and free to enter, feature ten categories including Interior Design, Safety and Security, and Sustainability. Winners will be announced at the Altos Awards ceremony at London's Ham Yard Hotel on December 2, 2024.
Shortlisted companies in the Best Interior Design category include Lamington Group, Staycity Group and Ukio, while Brera Serviced Apartments, Charles Hope and Numa Group are competing for Most Innovative Use of Technology.
The Sustainability Initiative category sees aparthotel Birmingham, City Break Apartments, Edyn and Mansley Serviced Apartments vying for recognition, while regional awards will celebrate excellence across Europe, Middle East and Africa, APAC, and North America/LATAM.
The Rising Star category, which recognises individual contributions to the sector, includes Isabelle Chalifour from Homenhancement, Michael Fiala from STAY Camden, Kate Draper from Staycity Group and Cristina Ciobotaru from Hybrid Residences Ltd.
"Following our very first Altos in 2020 (which was online during the pandemic), it's been fantastic to see this event go from strength to strength," says Joy Abi-Aad, marketing director at AltoVita.
"We're grateful to have the opportunity to showcase all the hard work and innovation made by both emerging and existing players within the short-term and extended stay rental market," adds Danni Prior, head of hospitality growth operations at AltoVita.
The event combines an awards ceremony with an afternoon programme of industry panel discussions featuring executives from Rotana, Aires, NBC Universal, Edyn and Breezeway.
Panels will encompass the likes of hospitality trends across the Middle East, as well as exploring the heightened importance of traveller safety and security.
The event will transition into the formal awards ceremony from 6pm, with a trophy presentation and ongoing after-party celebrations, complete with the signature AltoVita cocktails.
Tickets for The Altos are free and available for hospitality operators and other specialists in corporate accommodation. Fancy being a part of the event? Visit the AltoVita website here for more details.
