Virgin Atlantic has announced plans to open its latest premium lounge, the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, at Los Angeles International airport in early 2025.
The new facility, located in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, promises to offer travellers a taste of luxury and relaxation before their flights to London and beyond.
The Clubhouse will showcase Virgin Atlantic’s award-winning hospitality while incorporating elements that celebrate Los Angeles’ vibrant culture and entertainment heritage.
In a nod to its location, the Clubhouse will feature local artwork and specially designed mood lighting to evoke the famous California sunset.
Key features of the new Clubhouse will include a spacious bar and social area with table service dining, as well as exclusive spaces such as a VIP Booth named “the Royal Box”.
Flexible seating arrangements will cater to various needs, whether passengers wish to work, dine, or simply unwind, while the lounge’s proximity to Virgin Atlantic’s gates will allow passengers to maximise their time in the premium space before boarding.
The airline has also taken into consideration passengers’ pre-flight routines, with the space designed to optimise circadian rhythms and promote relaxation before long-haul journeys.
For those needing to stay connected, the lounge will offer wireless charging, Bluetooth connectivity, and ample power outlets throughout. Private pods will be available for those who need to make calls or finish work in a quiet environment.
Practical amenities haven’t been overlooked, with showers and changing facilities available for passengers wishing to freshen up before their onward travel.
The Clubhouse will also feature an expansive cocktail bar, where in-house mixologists will craft a range of beverages, including the airline’s signature drink, the Virgin Redhead.

- Customers flying in Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic + one guest traveling with Virgin Atlantic or Delta Air Lines
- Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold Card members + one guest traveling internationally with Virgin Atlantic or Delta Air Lines
- Delta One customers on a Delta Air Lines international flight
- SkyTeam Elite Plus members traveling on Virgin Atlantic or Delta + one guest traveling on an international flight operated by a SkyTeam carrier
- Customers connecting domestically must be traveling same day on the same itinerary and ticket
