Wonder Room is a new micro club at Singapore's Edition hotel that fuses theatrical styling with a high-tech sound system and imaginative projections. Olivia Palamountain reports

The Singapore Edition hotel has launched Wonder Room, an opulent micro club that spotlights glamour and decadence.

Nestled behind the hotel's signature spiral staircase, guests enter Wonder Room through a mesmerising bronze mirror tunnel, setting the stage for an evening of intrigue.

The interior features rich décor with theatrical velvet drapery, a charcoal concrete dome ceiling, and dark walls contrasting with plush furnishings.  An antique mirror with black glass adds to the enigmatic charm, reflecting the club's lavish décor.

The venue features an antique pool table and various seating options, including red velvet stools, benches, and banquettes, as well as a gold velvet sofa and ottoman.At the heart of Wonder Room is the extravagant Gold Bar, where patrons can enjoy a lengthy cocktail list, offering signatures such as the Clover Club and El Diablo.

Gourmet bites include luxurious caviars, Iberico ham and Wagyu beef sliders. For those seeking an elevated experience, premium bottle service is available.Hidden inside the Wonder Room is the Pink Room, an intimate 20-seat speakeasy-style venue available exclusively for private bookings.

The grand opening on September 6, 2024 featured performances from resident DJs, including Farah Farz, Bernadette Belle, and DJ Aldrin, alongside dancers and other entertainment. Wonder Room aims to cement The Singapore Edition as a cultural hub, with plans for ongoing programming and private events, from intimate gatherings to corporate celebrations and product launches.
