Raffles Jaipur is a palatial retreat on the border of Rajasthan’s “Pink City”, hand-carved from snow-white marble. Olivia Palamountain reports

Raffles Hotels & Resorts has opened Raffles Jaipur, a modern-day recreation of a palace in one of India’s most vibrant destinations.

Located a short drive from the “Pink City” and encircled by the ancient Aravalli Hills, Raffles Jaipur is hand-carved from pure white marble and showcases the finest Rajasthani craftsmanship.

The hotel aims to connect guests with local culture at every turn. Upon arrival, a Shikar tent evokes memories of Royal Mughal expeditions, while sandstone columns in the courtyard represent different eras of Rajasthani architecture.Raffles JaipurExclusive dining experiences, masterclasses with local artisans and private concerts are also on offer. Raffles Jaipur At the Writers Bar, expect signature cocktails such as the Jaipur Sling, a pink-hued twist on the famous Singapore Sling. The hotel also houses a huge spa, a fitness studio and a rooftop pool.

This new opening complements Raffles’ existing property in the region, Raffles Udaipur, which opened in 2021.
