ARK Living opens co-living hub in Shoreditch
ARK Living will open a new co-living property in Shoreditch this August, adding 194 serviced studios designed around flexible stays, community living and shared amenities.
ARK Living is expanding its London co-living portfolio with the launch of ARK Shoreditch, a new six-floor property opening in East London this August.
Located close to Broadway Market, Columbia Road and London Fields, the development will introduce 194 rooms designed for both short and long stays. Showrooms are now available to view ahead of launch.
The Shoreditch property will offer flexible agreements ranging from one night to 12 months. Long-stay licences will run from three to 12 months, while short-stay options will cover stays between one and 89 nights using dynamic pricing.

Prices start from £1,799 as an introductory offer on selected studios based on a 12-month agreement.
ARK Shoreditch will include 162 studios designed for longer stays alongside 32 short-stay rooms. Accommodation options range from 17 sqm Cosy Studios to larger 25.5 sqm Urban Studios.
All serviced rooms feature ensuite bathrooms, kitchenettes, double beds and TVs. However, unlike ARK Living’s Canary Wharf and Wembley properties, the short-stay rooms at Shoreditch will not include kitchenettes, encouraging guests to use communal cooking facilities and social spaces.
Shared amenities include large communal kitchens, a gym, yoga studio, cinema room, karaoke rooms, playroom and an internal garden. Residents will also have access to a programme of community events designed to encourage social interaction and networking.

The company says the Shoreditch location has been designed around ideas of connectivity and community, reflecting wider demand for flexible urban living models that combine private accommodation with hotel-style facilities and shared experiences.
Sustainability has also informed the refurbishment, with the project prioritising restoration and upcycling where possible while retaining existing furnishings.
The property is within walking distance of Hackney City Farm, Victoria Park, Haggerston Park and Regent’s Canal, with transport connections via Cambridge Heath Overground and Bethnal Green Underground station.
ARK Living is owned and operated by Crosstree Real Estate and led by managing director Robert Alam, who joined the company in 2024 after more than 20 years working across hospitality, hotels, leisure and co-living sectors.

Alongside its co-living expansion, ARK Living is also preparing to launch student accommodation projects across London, beginning with a site in Canning Town scheduled to open for the 2026/27 academic year.
Robert Alam, managing director at ARK Living, says: “This is an exciting time for ARK Living as we expand our co-living portfolio across London. ARK aims to build connections across new communities, fostering creativity through welcoming spaces and dependability.”
He adds: “ARK Shoreditch will do exactly that, tapping into its vibrant and creative surroundings. We hope members will form connections with each other, as well as with the wider city and the rich heritage of the community they are in. We look forward to welcoming new members this summer.”
The launch reflects continued growth in co-living across major cities as younger professionals seek more flexible and socially driven alternatives to traditional rental housing.
