Eurostar has unveiled new uniform at Paris Fashion Week, designed to reflect the rail operator's "European spirit".

French designer Emmanuelle Plescoff, who previously worked with Christian Lacroix, created the collection blending French elegance with street art influences drawn from Brussels, Amsterdam and London. The design features navy blue monochrome with simple cuts, graffiti-print neckerchiefs and green Dr Martens boots representing British self-expression.

Gwendoline Cazenave, chief executive of Eurostar, says "The new look is a reflection of who we are. It shows Eurostar heritage and our European spirit going forward. Chic, elegant and iconic. Just like our team. From the moment our team wear it, our customers know they are in caring hands and that we will make them live something special. We are proud to launch it today, as we are on our way to grow and welcome 30 million passengers to enjoy the unique Eurostar experience."Eurostar new uniform The 54-piece collection, worn by 2,600 employees across all routes from today, were co-created with 80 staff members over two-and-a-half years through wearer trials that shaped design elements focused on comfort, elegance and functionality. The collection incorporates breathable, stretchy fabrics with sports-inspired technology and was designed to be interchangeable across all genders, body types and personal styles.

Plescoff says: "Working with Eurostar has been a unique experience, as it is the first time I have seen a company place such strong emphasis on involving its employees in the creative process. This collaboration has resulted in a collection that balances simplicity, reliability and a metropolitan flair, symbolised through signature accessories like green Dr Martens and a graffiti neckerchief."Eurostar new uniformEurostar new uniformThe launch represents the first time all Eurostar colleagues across the entire network will wear identical uniforms, creating visual cohesion following last year's unified commercial and culinary offering.

Eurostar has emphasised sustainable manufacturing, with production taking place in factories within the Euromed region meeting Environmental, Social and Governance standards with verified worker welfare and sustainability certifications. Fabrics were selected for durability and environmental credentials, prioritising recycled polyester and organic cotton.Eurostar new uniform
A recycling campaign for old uniforms - think materials repurposed into products including mattresses and hanging basket liners - addresses textile waste from the previous uniform collection whilst demonstrating the company's environmental commitments.

The decision to standardise uniforms across all routes follows Eurostar's expansion and integration of services, with the company targeting 30 million annual passengers. The visual uniformity aims to reinforce brand recognition as the rail service competes with airlines and other transport options on cross-Channel routes.
