Louis Vuitton Hotel opens in London for Monogram anniversary
A Louis Vuitton Hotel pop-up has opened in London’s Mayfair to mark 130 years of the Monogram, featuring immersive rooms, dining concepts and repair services.
Louis Vuitton has opened a two-month “Louis Vuitton Hotel” pop-up in London, designed as an immersive experience to celebrate 130 years of its Monogram design. Located in Mayfair, the townhouse-style space invites visitors to explore the brand’s history through a series of themed rooms, hospitality concepts and services.
The Monogram was first created in 1896 by Georges Vuitton as a tribute to his father, and it has since become one of the most recognisable symbols in global fashion. London holds particular significance for the company, as it was the location of its first store outside France, opening in 1885.
The Louis Vuitton Hotel brings this heritage into a physical space that blends exhibition and hospitality. Each room focuses on a different bag design, including the Speedy, Keepall, Noé, Alma and Neverfull. These products are presented not only as accessories but as objects linked to travel and cultural history.

Visitors enter through the Keepall Lobby, which references the soft-sided travel bag introduced in 1930. On the first floor, Café Alma offers food and drink, including a two-course lunch menu served between 11am and 3pm, as well as afternoon tea available later in the day.
Upstairs, the Speedy Room recreates a hotel-style bedroom filled with examples of the Speedy bag, originally designed in the early 20th century to reflect faster, more mobile lifestyles. Nearby, a separate display space highlights a newer version of the design created under men’s creative director Pharrell Williams.

The top floor includes a “Neverfull Gym”, a playful installation inspired by the large-capacity tote bag, while the lower ground level houses Bar Noé. This bar references the Noé bag, which was originally designed in 1932 to carry champagne bottles. During the day, it serves drinks in a relaxed setting, while in the evening it hosts DJ-led events in partnership with London venue KOKO.
Beyond exhibitions and hospitality, the space also offers practical services. A dedicated care area allows visitors to bring existing Louis Vuitton items for repair or maintenance, reinforcing the brand’s focus on longevity. Personalisation options are also available, including hot-stamping patches created exclusively for the pop-up.
