Jumeirah has partnered with the Maltese Falcon, an 88-metre sailing superyacht to bring it into the Jumeirah Privé collection of homes, estates, private islands and experiences aimed at ultra-high net worth individuals.
Launched in 2006 and winner of more than 18 awards, the yacht will operate seasonal itineraries between the Mediterranean and Caribbean under Jumeirah's management. The hospitality brand will handle the onboard experience, applying its culinary, wellness and service philosophy to life onboard.
The Maltese Falcon uses a DynaRig system with three rotating carbon-fibre masts that can unfurl 2,400 square metres of sail in six minutes. The yacht has recently been refitted, updating interiors, exteriors and engineering.
The vessel accommodates 12 guests across a full-beam master suite, a VIP deck on the flybridge with terrace access and four double cabins with en-suites. A three-deck atrium wraps around the main mast, whilst leisure facilities include an outdoor cinema projected onto the lower sail, a rotating sunbed on the flybridge and a wellness area with massage room and fitness studio.
Guests have access to jet skis, kayaks, JetSurf boards, stand-up paddleboards and snorkelling equipment.
Thomas B Meier, chief executive of Jumeirah, says: "The Maltese Falcon marks an exciting chapter for Jumeirah Privé, extending our reach into the world of luxury yachting. Designed for the most discerning travellers, this collaboration reflects our commitment to creating distinctive and purposeful experiences that combine privacy, exclusivity and exceptional service.
"The yacht's heritage and craftsmanship are truly remarkable, and our role in this partnership will be to further elevate the onboard journey through our culinary expertise, wellness experiences and the warm spirit of Arabian hospitality that defines Jumeirah."
The debut voyage under Jumeirah Privé launched in December 2025 from Antigua. Summer itineraries will cover the Balearic Islands, French Riviera, Monaco, Italy's Amalfi Coast and Sardinia, plus Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Türkiye. Winter sailings return to the Caribbean, calling at Antigua, the Bahamas, Saint Martin and St Barth.
Echoing the sailing theme is Jumeirah's latest Dubai opening, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, which debuted in early 2025. Designed to echo the lines of a superyacht, this ultra-luxury property features 386 rooms, 82 serviced residences, a private marina, and 11 dining concepts. Jumeirah is targeting a doubling of its portfolio by 2030.
