Jayasom has announced plans to open its inaugural flagship property, Jayasom Wellness Resort, Amaala, on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast in 2026.

The project marks the brand’s first opening and will be located within the Amaala destination at Triple Bay, positioning Jayasom at the centre of one of the kingdom’s most high-profile tourism developments.

The launch places wellness firmly at the heart of Amaala’s vision, with Jayasom Amaala designed as both a destination retreat for adults and a family-friendly wellness resort.

The resort will bring together evidence-based medicine and holistic wellbeing practices, drawing on both Western clinical approaches and regional traditions. Jayasom says its programmes are designed to deliver measurable and lasting outcomes rather than short-term relaxation. Jayasom Wellness Resort, Amaala

Guests will be offered personalised wellness journeys across areas including nutrition and detox, emotional wellbeing, women’s health, men’s vitality, sleep recovery, stress management, fitness and immune resilience. These programmes will be supported by medically certified specialists alongside therapists and movement experts.

Jayasom Amaala will span more than 7,000 sqm of facilities dedicated to health and wellbeing. These will include spaces for physiotherapy, fitness training, mindfulness practices, nutrition and spa treatments, as well as aesthetic medicine supported by US FDA-approved technologies.

The resort will be divided into two zones, with one adults-only area designed for quiet retreat and a separate family-focused zone that caters for infants through to teenagers. This structure is intended to support both private reflection and shared wellbeing experiences across generations.Jayasom Wellness Resort, Amaala

A distinctive feature of the resort will be its integration of TAIM, or Traditional Arab and Islamic Medicine, into its wellness offering. TAIM is a long-established system that focuses on balance and prevention across physical, emotional and spiritual health.

At Jayasom Amaala, these practices will be adapted for contemporary travellers and combined with modern medical insight, offering guests an introduction to regional healing traditions alongside personalised care.

Karen Campbell, CEO of Jayasom, says: “Jayasom was born from a belief that wellness is a practice – grounded in presence, learning, and the quiet courage to be still. At Amaala, we will provide the space and support to restore balance, breathe deeply, and reconnect with wisdom – ancient and modern, personal and shared.

"Our commitment is to deliver wellness with integrity and compassion, empowering guests to carry forward habits that enrich their lives long after they return home.”Jayasom Wellness Resort, Amaala

Sustainability and environmental responsibility will play a central role in the resort’s design and operations. Jayasom Amaala will feature an on-site organic farm that supplies fresh produce for the resort’s kitchens, supports biodiversity and serves as an educational space for both adults and children.

The farm will also include a nursery to support landscaping across the property, reinforcing the link between nutrition, nature and wellbeing. Jayasom describes this approach as part of a wider commitment to operating with a light resource footprint while contributing positively to local communities.

The resort’s setting at Triple Bay on the Red Sea coast will provide access to marine-based activities and nature-led experiences, which will form part of selected wellness programmes. Alongside physical and therapeutic offerings, tailored retreats are planned around themes such as women’s-only wellness, couples’ reconnection, leadership development and movement-based experiences, including activities linked to horses and the sea.

As Jayasom’s first property, the Amaala opening sets the blueprint for the brand’s future developments across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. The company positions its resorts as long-stay sanctuaries rather than short escapes, with a focus on building habits that guests can continue after they leave.
