Aman has been busy. In 2026 the brand will debut its first property in Mexico and introduce a six-bedroom villa at Amangiri in Utah, alongside developments in India and Japan.
First up is Amanvari, scheduled to open on the East Cape of Baja California in spring. This marks the brand’s entry into Mexico with an 18-casita retreat and a collection of branded residences. Set within the 1,500-acre Costa Palmas estate, the property sits on a stretch of land where beach, desert and estuary meet. The casitas take in views of the Sea of Cortez and the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, while interiors make use of local stone, tropical hardwoods and regional art and ceramics.
The resort will offer a spa with a temazcal, private treatment houses and an open-air yoga pavilion. Guests will also have access to organic farms, orchards, a yacht club and a deep-water marina, along with opportunities for snorkelling, diving, hiking and sailing.

Amenities include a spa with temazcal (house of heat), private spa houses and an open-air yoga pavilion. Guests will have access to organic farms, orchards, a yacht club and deep-water marina, with opportunities for snorkelling, diving, hiking and sailing.
Over to the US and Amangiri in Utah will welcome guests to its first six-bedroom villa from February. The 1,115-square-metre residence, designed by Marwan Al-Sayed, sits within nine acres of desert with views of Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.
The villa features walnut, cypress and concrete interiors, a 36-metre swimming pool, six ensuite bedrooms and a master suite with private courtyard and plunge pool. Facilities include a fitness room, spa with steam room and sauna, personal chef and villa host. The villa is the first of 12 new private Aman-branded residences planned for the property.
Next up, Aman-i-Khás, the tented camp near Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan, will reopen in January with three new Grand Tented Pool Pavilions and one Tented Pool Pavilion, bringing total accommodation to 14 tents.
The Grand Tented Pool Pavilions span 256 square metres and feature temperature-controlled outdoor pools, private sundecks and alfresco dining areas. The 164-square-metre Tented Pool Pavilion includes a heated plunge pool and sun deck.
Aman Kyoto in Japan has unveiled Tea House Senkutsu, a new structure within the resort's forest garden. Designed by Sen Art Studio and crafted by Nakamura Sotoji Komuten, the building features traditional sukiya architecture and comprises two tea rooms: a koma (small room) for traditional chanoyu ceremonies accessed through a low nijiriguchi entrance, and a ryu-rei area for cultural activities including wagashi making, calligraphy, ikebana and art classes.
