Aman Group has announced plans to open a second Janu property in the UAE, strengthening the brand’s foothold in the region following the debut of Janu Tokyo and the forthcoming launch of Janu Dubai.
Set on Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island, a cluster of man-made islands extending into the Arabian Gulf, Janu Al Marjan Island will bring the brand’s ethos of sociable, design-driven hospitality to a destination rapidly emerging as one of the UAE’s most compelling coastal getaways.
Designed by Singapore-based SCDA Architects, the new resort aims to cultivate a sense of connection and shared experience through its contemporary aesthetic and generous communal spaces. The 132-key hotel will feature expansive sea views and an extensive line-up of amenities, including a dedicated wellness centre with a yoga studio, gym, hammam and banya. Guests will also find two restaurants, a mixology bar, a nightlife venue and a children’s club, together with a private beach, pool and Beach Club.
In addition to the hotel, the development will feature a residential tower offering Janu-branded properties ranging from one to five bedrooms, alongside a limited number of standalone villas. Residents will have full access to the resort’s facilities, creating a lifestyle that integrates home, hospitality and wellness. The property will also benefit from proximity to Wynn Al Marjan Island and the local marina.
Vlad Doronin, chairman and CEO of Aman Group, described Ras Al Khaimah as “one of the Middle East’s most captivating destinations,” adding that the new resort will reflect Janu’s spirited approach to contemporary living, where guests can connect through shared passions while enjoying the emirate’s dramatic natural landscapes.
Janu Al Marjan Island is the latest step in a growing pipeline for the brand, highlighting continued demand for lifestyle-oriented luxury that emphasises community, wellbeing and expressive design.
