Delano to open hotels in New York and London
Delano is expanding its design-led hospitality with two landmark city openings – in London and New York – alongside the relaunch of its original Miami Beach hotel in 2026. Olivia Palamountain reports
Delano has announced forthcoming openings in New York and London (plus a reopening of its Miami property), continuing the steady evolution of the brand after recent launches in Paris and Dubai.
In New York, Delano SoHo will occupy a 46-storey tower on Spring Street in Hudson Square, currently operating as The Dominick. The hotel will offer 390 rooms and suites shaped by curved forms, layered textures and sculptural details, balancing quiet sophistication with social vibrancy.
Expansive event spaces are designed to host cultural gatherings and private functions, establishing Delano SoHo as both a retreat and a meeting place in one of Manhattan’s most dynamic districts.
Delano London, set to open in late 2026 near Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, will bring the brand’s design sensibility to the UK for the first time. The 67-room hotel occupies a red-brick and stucco building and features interiors defined by soft minimalism, natural tones and the brand’s signature “Delano white.”
A library lounge and fireplace anchor the public spaces, while the ground-floor restaurant will debut one of Delano’s established dining concepts. The hotel will also feature a London outpost of the Rose Bar – a low-lit, velvet-lined space designed for cocktails, conversation and live music.
The reopening of Delano Miami Beach, scheduled for early 2026, will see the return of one of South Beach’s most recognisable hotels. The redesigned property pays tribute to its Art Deco origins while incorporating a lighter, modern aesthetic that reflects Miami’s creative energy today. Featuring 171 rooms and suites, including poolside bungalows and penthouses, the hotel will house four restaurant and bar concepts – among them a revival of the Rose Bar, once a gathering spot for artists, actors and local tastemakers.
Each new property will integrate dedicated wellness and retail spaces, part of Delano’s broader commitment to experiential travel that encourages restoration and discovery.
