Aman will debut in the Bahama's with Amancaya, a low-density property occupying two of the Exumas most secluded private cays.

Conceived through a partnership with Swiss investor, philanthropist and sportswoman Dona Bertarell, the ultra-luxury development combines an Aman hotel with a limited collection of fully-serviced Aman Residences.

"The introduction of Aman into The Bahamas is a significant milestone for our brand, which has already achieved much success in the Caribbean," says Vlad Doronin, chairman and chief executive of Aman Group. "Through our collaboration with Dona Bertarelli, we have found an unrivalled setting for exclusivity and natural beauty."AmancayaMeaning "peaceful island" in Taíno, Amancaya will feature resort amenities including a marina, Beach Club, Aman Spa and multiple dining venues distributed across both islands. The development represents Aman's third Caribbean property, joining Amanera in the Dominican Republic and Amanyara in Turks and Caicos.

Bertarelli describes the partnership as bringing "timeless elegance and bespoke experiences" to an exceptional location. "Guests of Amancaya will be able to enjoy the same sense of discovery and personal connection with the local community and culture that I have been able to experience in Exuma, all while immersed in its unmatched natural beauty," she says.

Currently under construction with involvement from Squircle Capital, Amancaya targets LEED certification and alignment with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as part of ambitious environmental commitments. The globally recognised standard addresses responsible design practices for luxury hospitality developments.

The Exuma location places Amancaya within one of the Caribbean's most exclusive destination areas, known for pristine waters, marine life and proximity to celebrity-owned private islands. The region attracts high-net-worth visitors seeking secluded luxury experiences away from more developed Caribbean tourist centres.
