Singita Serengeti House, an exclusive-use villa set within Tanzania's private 350,000-acre Grumeti Reserve, has undergone a redesign that honours the landscape rather than outshine it.

The property's kitchen has been reconfigured as a central social space, complemented by an expanded outdoor sala and signature Singita bar, while a new wellness facility housed within a glass pavilion provides spa treatments. A suite of outdoor showers are designed to replicate the sensation of African rainfall.

Now decked out in an earthy colour palette of hazelnut, pale oak and bitter chocolate tones, the four-bedroom property charges from £9,162 per night on a full-board basis for up to four guests.Each stay includes a dedicated team comprising private guide, chef and host who customise daily activities according to guest preferences, from sunrise game drives to bush breakfasts atop Sasakwa Hill.

The art collection showcases works from across the African continent, integrated throughout the villa's interior spaces. The pieces complement architectural elements described as "sculptural, nature-inspired interiors" designed with reverence for the wild, including seating inspired by Shongololo millipedes and chairs shaped by the curves of wild dog ears.Located on the migratory path of the Great Migration, the villa offers exclusive access to one of Africa's most wildlife-abundant reserves. Guests can visit anti-poaching observation posts where scouts demonstrate conservation patrol methods across the private concession.
