The Britannic Explorer, operated by Belmond, will offer three-night luxury journeys from London Victoria to Cornwall, the Lake District and the heartlands of Wales.

A collaboration between British designers and artisans, London-based studio Albion Nord has worked alongside celebrated designer Luke Edward Hall, shell artist Mel Campion, and geometric abstractionist Olly Fathers to create bespoke interiors that weave British wit and character throughout the eight carriages.

Each of the 18 cabins - comprising three Grand Suites and 15 Suites - features custom elements including hand-selected antiques, bold fabrics, and original artworks. Luke Edward Hall has reinterpreted Rubelli fabric with whimsical designs inspired by landmarks guests will encounter during their travels, whilst Marcus James has created intricate pen depictions of Lake District landscapes.Britannic Explorer
Under the leadership of Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan, a pioneer of Britain's farm-to-fork movement, Executive Head Chef Sven-Hanson Britt will execute seasonal menus showcasing the finest British produce with a focus on provenance and sustainability.

The train features Britain's first dedicated Wellness Suite on a luxury sleeper service, created in partnership with Wildsmith, providing passengers with spa treatments and relaxation facilities during their journey.Britannic ExplorerEach itinerary includes curated off-board experiences: coastal sailing and seaside yoga in Cornwall, wild swimming and paddleboarding in the Lake District and scenic valley hikes and wood-fired saunas in Wales. Lake District passengers will enjoy a gala dinner at Raymond Blanc's Michelin two-starred Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons during their Cotswolds passage.Britannic Explorer
The Britannic Explorer joins Belmond's existing UK portfolio, which includes the Art Deco British Pullman for day journeys and the Royal Scotsman for Highland adventures, making Belmond the only operator offering luxury rail experiences across Britain's three nations.Britannic ExplorerAccommodation starts from £11,000 for a double cabin, including the three-night itinerary, excursions, meals, wine and alcoholic beverages. The service represents a significant investment in British luxury tourism, offering domestic and international travellers a new perspective on slow travel through England and Wales.

Hendrik Huebner, general manager, describes the launch as "a pivotal moment, forging a new chapter in British rail innovation."
