Aman to launch Bangkok hotel

When Aman Nai Lert Bangkok opens in historic Nai Lert Park it will feature some of the city's largest suites and a medi-wellness centre set across two floors. Rose Dykins reports

Aman Resorts is launching a hotel in Bangkok in April 2025.

Aman Nai Lert Bangkok will become the 36th hotel from Aman Resorts, and the brand's third global urban property (following Aman Tokyo and Aman New York).

The 52-suite hotel will be located in the Thai capital’s lush Nah Lert Park. Designed by long-term Aman collaborator Jean-Michel Gathy, the property will epitomise the hotel brand’s DNA of peace, privacy and unparalleled service.Aman Nai Lert BangkokThe hotel’s design concept will blend influences from the historic Nai Lert Park Heritage Home with contemporary elements. Featuring custom-made furnishings by local artisans and elegant antiques, it will celebrate local culture and heritage. A stand-out feature will be a 100-year-old Sompong tree in the building’s courtyard.Aman Nai Lert BangkokThe 52 suites at the Aman Nai Lert Bangkok will be among the largest in the city, starting at 94 sqm in size. Each one will have floor-to-ceiling windows, framing park and city views.

Aman Nai Lert BangkokSpanning an entire floor of the hotel, the Aman Suite is one of the largest presidential suites in Bangkok, offering three bedrooms with a balcony and terrace, dining room with a bar counter and separate kitchen, a spacious living room, a private spa, an entertainment room and a study.

On the hotel's 19th floor, exclusive to Aman Club Founders and hotel guests, will be an open-air terrace, an Aman lounge, two restaurants and a cigar bar. The hotel will also feature an infinity pool overlooking the green canopy of Nai Lert Park, Italian restaurant Arva, and 1872 lounge bar,

The state-of-the-art 1,500 sqm Aman Spa and Wellness centre will cover two floors. It will house a medical clinic operated by Hertitude Clinic, with eight private clinic rooms, an examination room, an IV lounge and a cryotherapy chamber. Other spa facilities will include six treatment rooms, a dedicated Thai massage treatment and the private Banya Spa House.

Slated to become a gateway to Aman Resorts' 24 other hotels and resorts across Asia, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok brings the brand full circle back to Thailand, from the 1988 launch of its flagship property Amanpuri in Phuket.
