Pelorus Yachting expands Indonesian charter fleet

Pelorus Yachting has announced the launch of its new custom-built vessel Celestia, which will offer exclusive cruising experiences through Indonesia's archipelago. Olivia Palamountain reports

Celestia, a 45-m phinisi yacht designed for exploring Indonesia's biodiverse waters, has been added to Pelorus Yachting's charter fleet.

The vessel, handcrafted by Indonesia's renowned Bulukumba boatbuilders using centuries-old traditions, offers accommodation for up to 14 guests across seven suites.

The yacht features two owner's staterooms on the upper deck, each with a private terrace, and a master stateroom on the main deck with its own terrace and sun deck. Four additional deluxe staterooms are located on the lower deck.CelestiaInterior designer Deirdre Renniers, known for her work with phinisi vessels, has created understated elegant spaces that celebrate Indonesian artistry. The design combines local finishes and furniture in soft blues and earthy tones, accented with brass details, creating a sophisticated backdrop for viewing the surrounding limestone islands.

Celestia offers a range of activities, including diving, snorkelling, paddleboarding, kayaking, water-skiing, and wakeboarding. Guests can also enjoy birdwatching, island-hopping, nature hikes and private beach dinners.CelestiaThe vessel is available for charter year-round, with prices starting from US$94,500 per week. The yacht will cruise Komodo National Park and Sumbawa during summer months, switching to Raja Ampat and West Papua in winter.

The package includes freshly prepared meals, water sports equipment, planned excursions, diving equipment with a dive master, beverages, Starlink connectivity, and daily spa treatments, along with airport transfers.
