Forestis, a five-star mountain hideaway in South Tyrol, Italy, has announced the opening of a new private villa available for exclusive bookings from December 1, 2024.

The villa, located on the southern slope of the Plose mountain offers views of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Dolomites.

The property, which can accommodate up to ten guests, features its own spa and wine cellar. It comes with a private chef and personal concierge service.Forestis villaForestis villaThe villa is a restoration of a building originally constructed in 1912 as a doctor's residence but never used. Forestis owners Teresa and Stefan Hinteregger, along with architect Armin Sader, have aimed to incorporate luxurious contemporary amenities, while preserving the building's historical character through use of natural materials including wood from the forest, regional stone, glass, sand and lime plaster.

Spread over three floors, the five-bedroom villa (each of which is en suite) includes a living room with a fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, a cinema room and an event space. Unlike the main Forestis hotel, the villa allows families with children.Forestis villaThe massive spa is "inspired by the natural teachings of Celtic druids" and comprises a suite for two, a sauna, steam bath, indoor-outdoor pool, and a fitness room. Outside, there's a garden with an outdoor kitchen and lounge area.

This development is part of a series of renovation projects at Forestis, including a new wine cellar, garden restaurant, and spa treatment rooms.
